DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.
In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.
Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.

DP-6: Caveman Returns
The time has come for the next chapter in the series of unique releases on DP-6 Records.
Following in the footsteps of the first part, "Caveman Returns" continues to explore new sonic forms and territories. The EP features four tracks, each with its own distinct mood and energy.
The title track, "Caveman Returns", takes you back to the roots of the early DP-6 sound, weaving bright synth leads into a signature melancholic atmosphere. The mysterious "Bennu" invites you to explore the silent world of an ancient asteroid, while the rhythmic drive of "Freight Train" echoes the steady clatter of wheels on dusty railroad tracks. Finally, there is "Forvalaka" - a mythical, dangerous shapeshifter. Following this creature, you will travel deep into the past of electronic music, guided by the call of vibrant electric chords and raw analog sounds.

With each new sound, the release "Tensity" creates a constant and growing tension. And despite the apparent calmness, its sounds and textures are literally infused with static electricity. Exploring these soundscapes will be aided by the original and Indigo Dub versions of this new work on DP-6 Records.
